Vibram Megagrip - compound also present on the ISPO Award winning Trail5 and iSpike models, which characteristics are a sticky and very long lasting compound that provides excellent grip on wet, muddy, slippery surfaces as well as dry rocky surfaces.
Recoil midsole + SoftFoam heel insert provides a comfortable cushioning and at the same time giving you some extra energy rebound in the toe off phase. In the heel area there’s an offset SoftFoam™ insert providing extra cushioning.
The shoe upper design features a sleek exterior design with a reinforced RocShield™ forefoot area. The quick lace construction does not harbour water nor dirt.
TGS 62/75°
The distance from heel to the ball of foot (62% of the shoe) has been designed with extra stability, which ends in the so-called “ballet” line, a 75° angle. In front of the 75° line, we have equipped the shoe with greater flexibility to stimulate the foot’s natural movements. The TGS 62/75° feature assures that the shoe bends in exactly the right places, stimulating the foot’s natural lateral and forward movements.
DROP 5MM
Heel drop is essentially a measurement for how fat a running shoe’s heel feels. It’s short for “heel to toe drop,” shortened to “drop.” It tells you how much taller the heel is than the forefoot. Example: A shoe with a 22-mm thick heel and a 17-mm thick forefoot will have a 5-mm heel-toe drop. Salming Running shoes never has higher drop than 6mm as we believe a higher drop negatively interferes with your natural running stride and makes it hard to find a perfect running form.
RECOIL™ MIDSOLE
The material in the midsole is a newly developed compound named RECOIL™ - which is a super lightweight cushioning compound that releases a high rebound energy effect.

The Vibram Megagrip compound has been developed by Vibram, the world authority in terms of performance rubber outsoles, with more than 75 years of experience in more than 120 countries. The Megagrip is a sticky and very long lasting compound that provides excellent grip characteristics in wet, muddy, slippery conditions as well as dry rocky ground.
ROCSHIELD
A special PU area covering the lower part of the shoe upper protecting it from sharp rocks and branches thus both increasing the durability of the shoe and adds confidence to the runner.
SOFTFOAM™
A cushioning compound featured in the heel impact zone designed to reduce impact forces. The SoftFOAM™ heel insert area has 70% better shock absorbing properties than standard EVA midsole. The RECOIL™ and SoftFOAM™ combined - creates a sandwich construction made to maximize your performance.

HydroGuard® is a breathable water¬proof membrane that guarantees a dry and comfortable environment for your feet. Hydroguard guarantees long time protection, lab testing shows up to 50.000 flexes of the upper construction without compromising the waterproof property. HydroGuard® is environmentally friendly, PTFE Free, REACH certified and Flame Laminated.
